Narrative project

Inspired by Jude Nutter's poem 'The Garden Party' the Narrative project depicts a series of events during a day Barker visits her maternal grandmothers grave with her own mother who shares the same name. Beginning with a zine of charcoal sketches marking significant moments during the day, the sketches were then engraved into six wood pieces.
