Sound installation developed from introspective analysis of secretarial behaviours during my mother's illness at the start of 2020. Audio is taken from a hospital letter, put through a text to speech software. The deteriorating audio comes from the process of recording and re-recording audio from within the filing cabinet itself to collect the metallic echoes in order to present the destruction of voice and emphasis of the synthetic.
